National Police Chief Appoints Brigadier General Desy Andriani As Director Of PPA And PPO

JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo appointed Brigadier General Pol. Desy Andriani as Director of Criminal Acts of Women and Children (PPA) and Criminal Trafficking in Persons (PPO) Bareskrim Polri. Previously, Brigadier General Pol. Desy served as the Psychologist of the Main Police Tk1 SSDM Polri.

"This is the commitment of the National Police Chief in an effort to realize justice for women and children as well as vulnerable groups by officially forming the Directorate of Women and Children's Crimes (PPA) and the Trafficking Crime (PPO) and appointing Brigadier General Pol. Desy Andriani as the Director of PPA and PPO," said Head of the Public Information Bureau (Karopenmas) of the National Police's Divhumas Brigadier General Pol. Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko in a statement received in Jakarta, Sunday, September 22.

Apart from Brigadier General Desy, the National Police Chief also transferred 308 regent and other Pamen personnel as stated in the telegram letter numbered ST/2098/IX/KEP./2024, ST/2099/IX/KEP./2024, ST/2100/IX/KEP./2024, and ST/2101/IX/KEP/2024 dated September 20, 2024.

In the letter, the National Police Chief appointed four new regional police chiefs and four new deputy police chiefs. Here are the names of the new regional police chiefs:

1. Inspector General of Police. Andi Rian R. Djajadi, who previously served as South Sulawesi Police Chief, is now the South Sumatra Police Chief.

2. Inspector General of Police. Yudhiawan Wibisono, who previously served as North Sulawesi Police Chief, is now the South Sulawesi Police Chief.

3. Inspector General of Police. Roycke Harry Langie, who previously served as Kakorbinmas Baharkam Polri, now serves as North Sulawesi Police Chief.

4. Inspector General of Police. Hadi Gunawan, who previously served as the Chief of Police, is now the NTB Police Chief.

Meanwhile, here are the names promoted as wakapolda:

1. Deputy Chief of East Java Regional Police Kombes Pol. Pasma Royce.2. West Java Deputy Chief of Police Kombes Pol. Wibowo.3. Deputy Chief of Bali Police Brigadier General Pol. I Komang Sandi Arsana.4. Deputy Chief of Police Babel Brigadier General Pol. Tony Harsono.

Furthermore, the National Police Chief also confirmed Inspector General Pol. Wahyu Hadiningrat as Assistant to the Chief of Police for General Planning and Budget (Astamarena) and Inspector General Pol. Verdianto Iskandar Bitticaca as Assistant to the Chief of Police for Operations (Astamaops).

Brigadier General Pol. Trunoyudo said that promotion and rotation are common in an organization to improve the performance and service and protection of the Police to the community.

"Mutation and rotation are natural processes in the organization in order to improve performance, the tour of duty area," he said.
