The TNI Of The People's Law Participates In The 79th Anniversary With Various Interesting Activities

JAKARTA - Head of the Army Information Service (Kadispenad), Brigadier General Wahyu Yudhayana, emphasized that the commemoration of the 79th Anniversary of the TNI is not only an internal celebration, but also an important momentum to strengthen relations between the TNI and the community. This event is a form of TNI's gratitude to the Indonesian people who have supported their duty in maintaining state sovereignty.

"We invite all Indonesian people to participate in this celebration, because the TNI and the people are one unit. All of these series of activities are a form of our appreciation for the extraordinary support from the community," said Brigadier General Wahyu, Saturday (21/9/2024).

With the theme "TNI and the People Ready to Guard the Succession of Leadership for Advanced Indonesia," the 79th Anniversary of the TNI was enlivened by various activities involving the community. This activity aims to show the strength of the TNI in maintaining stability and security, as well as strengthening harmonious relations between the TNI and the people.

Series Of Social And Sports Activities

The event, which took place from September to October 2024, includes various social activities, such as social services, free treatment, distribution of basic necessities, and renovation of public facilities. This program aims to help people in need and build closeness between TNI soldiers and local residents.

In addition, the TNI also held an Open Sports Tournament involving soldiers and the community. This tournament includes various sports such as table tennis, volleyball, field tennis, and football, which are held in various TNI Kotama throughout Indonesia. This provides an opportunity for soldiers and the community to interact closer in a healthy competitive atmosphere.

One of the most anticipated events by the community is the Alutsista Exhibition which will be held at the Monas Cross Field, Jakarta. This exhibition displays various sophisticated weapons from the three TNI dimensions, ranging from light weapons to armored combat vehicles, which show Indonesia's defense capabilities. Similar exhibitions will also be held in various regions throughout Indonesia.

In the spirit of togetherness, the TNI also held a Journalistic, Photographary, and Short Video Works Competition inviting journalists and the public to capture the moment of togetherness between the TNI and the people. This competition aims to showcase the real role of the TNI in maintaining the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia.

The Peak Of The 79th TNI Anniversary Celebration At Monas

The peak of the commemoration of the 79th Anniversary of the TNI will take place on October 5, 2024 at the Monas Cross Field, Jakarta. This event will be led directly by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ir. Joko Widodo, and will display the defense of troops and defense equipment parades from the three TNI dimensions.

Brigadier General Wahyu Yudhayana emphasized that the entire series of events for the 79th Anniversary of the TNI was dedicated to the Indonesian people. "We hope that the community can participate in feeling this spirit of togetherness, because everything the TNI does is for the nation and state," he concluded.
