Fahmi Hakim Appointed As Chairman Of The Banten DPRD 2024-2029

JAKARTA - Golkar Party politician Fahmi Hakim was appointed as Chairman of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) of Banten Province for the definitive period 2024-2029.

Quoted from Antara, the determination was read out by the Secretary of the Banten Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) Deden Apriandhi based on decision number 100.3.3.10/02-DPRD/IX/2024 at the Banten Provincial DPRD, Serang, Saturday, September 21.

In addition, Deden announced the position of four definitive Deputy Chairmen of the DPRD from elements of the Gerindra Party Yudi Budi Wibowo, from elements of the Prosperous Justice Party Budi Prayogo, and from elements of the Democratic Party Eko Susilo.

However, at that time the Deputy Chairperson of the PDI-P Party was not announced.

As for the leadership of the Plenary Session of the DPRD at that time, Yudi Budi Wibowo said that based on the Banten Provincial DPRD regulation number 1 of 2020 concerning rules, Article 79 paragraph 1 that the DPRD leadership consists of one chairman and four deputy chairmen.

Previously, Fahmi Hakim and Yudi Budi Wibowo served as interim leaders of the DPRD for the period 2024-2029.

In membership of the Banten DPRD for the 2019-2024 period, Fahmi Hakim served as deputy definitive chairman.

The composition of the leadership of the Banten DPRD was then handed over through the Acting Governor of Banten Al Muktabar, which would then be handed over to the Minister of Home Affairs.

Al Muktabar said together with the definitive leadership of the Banten DPRD, they would wait for the ratification of the 2025 regional budget (APBD), with all stages, and formulate together to become regional policies.

"Well, of course, the completeness of the Council is very much needed. Therefore, with its structure, it will accelerate all work agendas. In the end, we want us to dedicate all of the work agenda to the people," he said.

On the other hand, Fahmi Hakim also thanked the party carrying him both at the DPD I and DPP levels, for his trust in becoming the chairman of the DPRD.

After the plenary meeting, he hoped that the Decree (SK) from the Minister of Home Affairs would immediately drop. So that together with the Banten provincial government, they can work to determine the AKD (board equipment)

"Hopefully the decree will go down as soon as possible and there will be a definitive inauguration, so that the DPRD will always continue on other AKD equipment, to determine the AKD so that the DPRD programs will continue to run well soon," he said.
