Two Women Suspected Of Giving The Code For The Suicide Bombing In Makassar, Police: We Are Undercover

JAKARTA - Densus 88 Anti-terror is still investigating two women who were caught on CCTV cameras in the Makassar Cathedral Church area. The woman is suspected of being the one who gave the signal before the suicide bombing.

Thus, the police have not been able to conclude the relationship between the two women in the deadly action. Currently, the police are still investigating.

"The involvement of these women in the incident in Makassar is still being investigated", said Head of Public Information Bureau, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Rusdi Hartono, to reporters, Wednesday, March 31.

Rusdi also cannot confirm whether the two women have been questioned or not. He only emphasized that everything related to acts of terror would be investigated by Densus 88 Anti-terror.

"Everything is still being investigated", said Rusdi.

As before, after the suicide bombing, the Densus 88 Anti-terror had arrested eight suspected terrorists in Makassar.

The most recent arrest was a man with the initials I. He was said to be part of the Villa Mutiara group and the Jamaah Ansharut Daulah (JAD) network.

Meanwhile, seven terrorist suspects were arrested in Makassar, namely the initials AS or AR, SAS, MR, AA, R or M, AN, MM.
