Break Through The Kemayoran Train Door, Dozens Of Motorbikes Are Ticketed By The Police

JAKARTA - The application of fines by the Director of Traffic and Traffic of the Polda Metro Jaya against those who break through the railroad crossing gate (KA) on Jalan Perlantas Langsung (JPL) No. 11 Km 2 + 595, plots of Rajawali-Kemayoran road, Central Jakarta, began today, Thursday, September 19. The prosecution took effect from 09.00 WIB.

From VOI's observation at the location, there were still many traffic violators who broke through the railroad crossing at JPL No. 11 Km 2 + 595, the Rajawali-Kemayoran road plot. About dozens of motorbikes who got ticketed witnesses for desperate to break through the railroad crossing.

Traffic police officers are taking action against fines for a number of two-wheeled vehicles that broke through the railroad gate on Jalan Industri towards Kemayoran.

"Yes, sorry sir, I don't know if there is law enforcement. I don't know, because it's another passenger from Tangerang," said Ivan, one of the online motorcycle taxi drivers (ojol) who was ticketed for desperate to break through the railroad crossing.

Please note, violating the rules at level crossings can be subject to criminal sanctions in accordance with Law no. 23 of 2007 concerning Railways and Law no. 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation.

Apart from Ivan, Ismail, a private motorcyclist worker was also subject to a ticket for recklessly breaking through the railroad crossing.

"I'm in a hurry to go to work, it's too late. Usually no one keeps the crossing, but now there are police and they are even ticketed. I don't know if it's forbidden," said Ismail.

Meanwhile, as of Thursday afternoon at around 10.39 WIB, there were still many motorcyclists and cars that were still breaking through the railroad door on JPL No. 11 Km 2 + 595, the Rajawali-Kemayoran road plot.

As of 10.40 WIB, from VOI's monitoring, there were no traffic police officers on guard at JPL crossing No. 11 Km 2 + 595, Rajawali-Kemayoran road plots. So that there are still many motorcyclists who are still desperate to break through the railroad crossing.

Previously, it was reported that the Head of the Central Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit (Kasat Lalu), Kompol Gomos Simamora, confirmed that his party would impose a fine on motorists who were desperate to break through the Kemayoran railroad crossing gate on Jalan Perlantasan Langsung (JPL) No. 11 Km 2+595, Rajawali-Kemayoran road plot, Central Jakarta on Thursday, September 19, 2024.

"If he (the vehicle driver) endangers himself and others, by crossing the railroad bars, it will be ticketed. If there are (violations) we will ticket," said Kompol Gomos when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, September 17.
