Police Denies Violence Against Minister Radinal Mochtar's Son Who Died During Land Execution

JAKARTA - The police confirmed that they helped the son of the Minister of Public Works in the era of President Soeharto, Radinal Mochtar, Rasich Hanif during the execution of his house in South Jakarta on Thursday (12/9).

"Our members helped him during shortness of breath," said South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Ade Rahmat Idnal to reporters, Tuesday, September 17.

Ade said this was in response to reports of residents who died during the execution of the Sedjuk Bakmi and Cilandak Coffee restaurants on Jalan Lebak Bulus III/15 RT 08/04 Cilandak Barat, Cilandak, South Jakarta.

He said that the late Rasich Hanif had a history of heart disease, so it was suspected that the cause of death was due to the congenital disease.

He emphasized that his party had evidence of a number of videos showing police assistance to the son of the former minister.

He emphasized that there was no violence during the execution process some time ago.

"It's not true about the information, everything has a complete video recording," he said.

The South Jakarta District Court (PN) confirmed that the son of the Minister of Public Works in the era of President Soeharto, Radinal Mochtar, Rasich Hanif died not due to clashes during the execution.

Rasich's death was not caused by clashes with officers, but due to illness during the execution process.

Previously, there had been an execution of land clearing on Thursday morning, September 12, at 09.30 WIB on Jalan Lebak Bulus III/15 RT 08//04 Cilandak Barat, Cilandak, South Jakarta (Jaksel).
