AHY: Democrats Are Ready To Join The Future Government

Chairman of the Democratic Party, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, stated that his party, as part of Prabowo Subianto's struggle in the 2024 presidential election, is ready to participate in guarding Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka's government in the future.

This was conveyed by AHY who is also the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency after attending the Plenary Cabinet Session at the Garuda Palace, the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), East Kalimantan, Friday, September 13.

"Yes, of course, the Democratic Party, in this case, is an integral part of Pak Prabowo Subianto's struggle and victory in the 2024 presidential election yesterday. So, we certainly hope to be a part of guarding the government in the future," AHY said as quoted by Antara.

According to AHY, Prabowo has also conveyed the task of guarding the government in the future to the big family of the Democratic Party.

"Including myself, of course, I must be ready to carry out any task given by him (Prabowo) because for us, carrying out the role of government at the national level is a mandate and we must also be held accountable as well as possible," he explained.

AHY said all parties should be ready to be part of the super team that will be formed for the next five years.
