Independent Candidate Kun Wardana Promises Jakarta Residents To Be Able To Work Decently

JAKARTA - The candidate for Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta from an independent route in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada Kun Wardana Abyoto promised Jakarta residents to work properly regardless of the type and status of their jobs.

"We will guarantee decent work for all workers. Formal workers, contract workers or people who work in partnerships are quite a lot. We need to guarantee their lives so that they can live properly," said Kun in Jakarta, Antara, Friday, September 13.

This, continued Kun, is in accordance with his vision and mission with the Candidate for Governor of DKI Dharma Pongrekun, namely building a human living happily.

"Of course, he must be safe at work, comfortable at work, and also worthy of work. The majority of the people of Jakarta are workers," he said.

Kun then said that for the sake of Jakarta residents who can work properly, plus comfortably, a decent wage is important. According to him, the decent wages for workers must be calculated carefully.

"Every existing expenditure, if it turns out that with the existing wages it is added to a cut, he cannot reach a minimum decent life, then in fact it has not been said to work properly," he explained.

Kun then highlighted that there are still gaps in the people of Jakarta, especially the northern region. Therefore, he and Dharma, said the need to provide jobs for the community, as well as form an entrepreneurial spirit in them.

"We want this entrepreneurship to enter the social entrepreneurship. So it's not just profit or profit for themselves but profit can be shared together based on the concept of mutual cooperation," he said.

The Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana pair became the third candidate pair to register at the KPU of DKI Jakarta Province after the pair Pramono Anung-Rano Karno and the Ridwan Kamil-Suswono pair.

This pair brought the "Save the Soul" program in the 2024 Jakarta Governor and Deputy Governor Election to ensure equitable distribution of people's welfare.
