Jokowi Hopes That The Prabowo-Giban Government Immediately Runs Fast After Being Inaugurated

NUSANTARA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) hopes that the upcoming government, namely the elected president and vice president Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka (Prabowo-Gibran) can immediately work and run fast after the inauguration on October 20, 2024.

Jokowi conveyed this in his remarks while chairing the second plenary cabinet meeting, as well as the last time with the ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet (KIM) at the Garuda IKN Palace, East Kalimantan, Friday, September 3.

Jokowi asked the ministers to fully support Prabowo Subianto's President-elect program so that the new government transition runs effectively.

"We must all fully support the program of the elected president. Ensure that the transition to government runs effectively," said Jokowi.

Jokowi emphasized that he would immediately resolve if needed new regulations or policies that must be made immediately.

He stressed that the new policies or regulations must be resolved immediately, especially in supporting the flagship program of the elected president.

"If it is necessary to formulate policies that must be made immediately, immediately make them, immediately resolved, especially for presidential-elected programs. So that after being inaugurated the new government can immediately work and run fast," he explained.

The second plenary cabinet session was held when Jokowi was based in IKN for 40 days. Jokowi started his office from September 10 to one day before the inauguration of the elected president and vice president on October 19, 2024.

On the sidelines of being based in IKN, Jokowi will still make work visits to various regions in Indonesia.
