Acting Mayor Of Tangerang Reported To Bawaslu Due To Facilitation Of Achmad Dimyati's Visit

TANGERANG - Acting Mayor of Tangerang, Nurdin, was reported by the Director of the Public Policy Institute (LKP) Ibnu Jandi to Bawaslu Tangerang City. For allegedly violating neutrality in welcoming the 2024 Banten Pilkada.

Complaints over the alleged modus operandi of abuse of authority by Nurdin, namely by facilitating the visit of Commission II of the DPR RI Achmad Dimyati to the Tangerang City Government Center (Puspem), Monday, September 9.

The chairman of the Tangerang City Bawaslu, Komarullah, confirmed the report. He said he would first study the alleged violation of the neutrality of public officials in Tangerang City.

"Today we just have a report, bro. Recently there was just a report. From the results of this report, we will study it first, bro. That's it," said Komarullah when confirmed, Wednesday, September 11.

He asked for a week to study first regarding the complaint against the Acting Mayor of Tangerang, Nurdin. Later, after the basics of the complaint, said Komarullah, it will be submitted to the public

"So as soon as possible, at least in a short time we will first study the results of the community reports and we will bring them all to the leadership," he said.

Regarding whether this lapoean will be brought to Bawaslu Banten, he said that his party would study it first. If later it is proven that there is a violation, it will be continued to Bawaslu Banten.

"We will discuss it in the city. We will discuss it, if there are allegations of violations, we will register a new one," he concluded.
