Trump Calls Tuesday's Best Night Debate Ever, Harris Chooses To Be Low

JAKARTA - Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said debate in the context of the 2024 United States Presidential Election which was held late Tuesday was the best he had ever experienced, while his Democratic rival Kamala Harris chose to demean himself.

Former Trump president immediately tried to turn the debate against Kamala Harris on Tuesday night into a win, questioning whether he would participate in the second debate.

"I think this is the best debate I've had personally," Trump said in a'spin room' after the debate.

Trump said Harris "wanted to have another debate because he was beaten tonight, but I don't know if we're going to have another debate."

Trump was again not committed when asked Fox News if he would agree to another debate with Harris.

"I have to think about it, but if you win a debate, I think maybe I don't need to," he said.

"Why should I have another debate? He immediately said, 'We want another debate'. That's, you know, what happens when you are a fighter and you lose, you want a new fight right away," he told Fox News's Sean Hannity.

Harris told his supporters that we are still the underdogs in this election after the debate

Meanwhile, Harris chose to be humble when talking to his supporters at an event to watch together in Philadelphia after a debate with Trump.

"Friends, we are still an unseeded team in this race. Very tight," said the incumbent US Vice President.

He stressed the importance of winning the State of Pennsylvania which became the battlefield and thanked campaign volunteers.

"We believe in ourselves. We believe in the American people. This is a campaign about bringing people together, knowing most of us have more in common than what separates us," Harris said.

It is known, the theme of unity, instead of division, is also what Harris did in his attack on Trump on the debate stage.

Trump and Harris's debate this time was held at the National Constitution Center, Philadelphia with David Muir and Linsey Davis, on Tuesday evening local time and without spectators attending.

Throughout the debate, the two of them collided with each other in arguments and policies related to the economic midwives, the 2025 Project, abortion, foreign policy related to the dancers of US troops from Afghanistan to the Russia-Ukraine war and the conflict in Gaza, health care to race.
