JAKARTA - The Indonesian House of Representatives approved Iffa Rosita as commissioner of the General Elections Commission (KPU), replacing Hasyim Asy'ari. Iffa has even been invited to be asked if he is willing to replace Hasyim. "Why did we ask at that time, because, right, his status until yesterday Iffa was still a commissioner in East Kalimantan. He replaced Hasyim Asy'ari because he got the highest votes from the 2022-2027 Indonesian KPU Commissioner candidate who passed the reserve during the fit and proper test two years ago.
