Perpetrator of stabbing of Indomaret Pecenongan employee arrested, 5 days earlier transferred to work

The Gambir Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit managed to arrest the perpetrator of the murder of an Indomart minimarket employee on Jalan Pecenongan Raya, Kebon Kelapa Village, Gambir, Central Jakarta.

"We have secured the perpetrator on behalf of Agreeing on Zeg (25)," said Gambir Metro Police Chief, Kompol Jamalinus Nababan when confirmed, Tuesday, September 10.

The perpetrator is still undergoing examination at the Gambir Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit to account for his actions.

"Currently, officers are also investigating the motive of the abuse case," he said.

Furthermore, Kompol Jamalinus said the perpetrator was known to be a former colleague of the victim.

It is known that the perpetrator 5 days before the incident was transferred to another shop. It is suspected that the perpetrator has a grudge with the victim.

"We are still investigating the motive, we are still investigating the perpetrators," he said.

Previously, it was reported that an Indomart minimarket employee named Sandy Yogatama (21) died after receiving a number of stab wounds at Indomaret warehouse, Jalan Pecenongan Raya, Kebon Kelapa Village, Gambir, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, September 10, early in the morning.

The victim named Sandy died after receiving stab wounds all over his body. The victim died on the spot.
