Parking Rates At I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport As Of September 23

BADUNG - I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali, has increased the parking rate for vehicles, both four-wheeled and two-wheeled. The tariff increase will take effect on September 23, 2024.

I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport management will adjust the parking rates for four-wheeled, two-wheeled, and six-wheeled motorized vehicles within I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, in order to ensure excellent service to airport service users.

General Manager of I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, Handy Heryudhitiawan, said the adjustment of motor vehicle parking rates was carried out to improve facilities for motorized vehicles in the airport environment.

"Since 2019 until now, we have always improved supporting facilities for motorized vehicles such as the construction of parking buildings at international and domestic terminals, the construction of two-wheeled vehicle parking buildings, as well as the widening of roads in the I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport area. This tariff adjustment, we do to ensure the continuity of the increase in facilities. We will do the last adjustment of entrance and parking rates for motorized vehicles in 2021," said Handy, Monday, September 9.

As for the current tariff, four-wheeled vehicles are IDR 10,000 for the first hour and IDR 5,000 for each subsequent hour, for two-wheeled vehicles IDR 4,000 for the first 12 hours and IDR 2,000 for each subsequent hour, and for six-wheeled vehicles or more valid IDR 15,000 for the first hour and an additional IDR 5,000 for each subsequent hour.

After adjusting, the tariff for four-wheeled vehicles is IDR 12,000 for the first hour and IDR 6,000 for the next hour.

For two-wheeled vehicles IDR 5,000 for the first 12 hours and IDR 3,000 for each subsequent hour, as well as for six-wheeled vehicles or more valid IDR 16,000 for the first hour and an additional IDR 6,000 for each following hour.

"In making tariff adjustments, we have calculated the cost of motor vehicle services to determine the amount of the adjustment. We have also always coordinated with the Badung Regency Government Regional Revenue Agency, and have received responses and support to determine tariffs," he said.

"In addition, we also ensure that the quality of service at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport is always in top condition as evidenced by a survey of community satisfaction carried out by the Bali Consumer Protection Foundation with an A or very good score," he added.

Thus, Handy said that the adjustment would later return to the community in the form of services at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport which was getting better.

"Not only in terms of improving facilities at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, but with this adjustment, the progress of regional development and community welfare in Badung Regency will also be affected by the increase in contribution to local revenue in the form of parking fees to the Badung Regency Government," he said.

Meanwhile, Branch Manager of PT Angkasa Pura Support Denpasar Branch, Djoko Setyo Pambudi, operator of parking at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, stated that his party is ready to ensure optimal service to all service users at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport.

"As a parking manager at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, of course we will ensure that all parking support service facilities such as toll gate operations, the readiness of parking facilities, as well as parking arrangements at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport are always in top condition for the convenience of airport service users," he said.

Meanwhile, the Director of the Bali Consumer Protection Foundation (YLPK), I Putu Armaya, believes that I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport has succeeded in ensuring public satisfaction with services at the airport.

"After we conducted a survey last August to approximately 300 respondents, I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport managed to get title A or very well related to community satisfaction. For this reason, we consider that I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport has provided the best service to its service users.
