IKN Authority Asks To Add A Budget Of IDR 27.8 Approved, Commission II Of The DPR: The Largest In Proposed History

PKS politician Mardani Ali Sera said the Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) proposed an additional budget of IDR 27.8 trillion for the 2025 budget ceiling.

According to him, the nominal budget is the largest proposed to Commission II of the DPR.

"IKN proposes an additional 27 trillion from [Rp] for the 2025 budget. The largest in the history of proposals from Commission II," said Mardani, who is also a member of Commission II of the DPR in his X account, Monday, September 9.

Mardani invited the public to supervise the OIKN budget proposal which was approved today in a working meeting with Commission II of the DPR with OIKN.

"I think it is necessary to maintain the continuity of this budget allocation," he said.

Previously, OIKN proposed an additional budget of IDR 27.8 trillion for the initial budget ceiling of 2025. The submission was submitted in a working meeting with Commission II of the DPR at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, September 9.

Acting (Plt) Deputy Chief of OIKN Raja Juli Antoni said the total budget requirement proposed to finance OIKN activities in 2025 was IDR 28.3 trillion. He said the shortcomings needed to be met by OIKN reached IDR 27.8 trillion.

"To ensure that there are no overlapping development activities between OIKN and the Ministry of PUPR, we are sharpening the proposed additional budget to Rp27.8 trillion," Raja Juli said in a working meeting.

Raja Juli admitted that previously OIKN had submitted an additional budget proposal of IDR 29.8 trillion. However, the proposal is not accommodated in the 2025 OIKN budget allocation.

So, he said, his party again submitted an additional proposal with a slight change.
