PSG Survey: 73 Percent Of Jakarta Residents Satisfied With Jokowi's Performance

JAKARTA - The results of the Political Strategy Group (PSG) survey agency show that 73 percent of Jakarta Special Region (DKJ) residents are satisfied with the performance of Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

PSG Chief Researcher Ahsan Ridhoi explained that the question was asked because Jakarta's status had changed under Jokowi's administration.

"This is also to see if it will affect satisfaction with performance? Because it is part of the performance to move the capital city. In general, Jakarta residents are still satisfied," Ahsan said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, September 7.

He said the results of the PSG survey noted that 13 percent of Jakarta residents were very satisfied with Jokowi's performance.

Then, 60 percent were satisfied, 22 percent were dissatisfied and 5 percent were dissatisfied with Jokowi's performance.

"So, this is not much different from most surveys about satisfaction with President Jokowi for his performance," he said.

The PSG survey period starts from August 6 to 15, 2024 in all cities of the Jakarta Special Region.

The number of samples was 1,540 respondents obtained through a multistage random sampling technique.

The margin of error is approximately 2.7 percent at the level of confidence of 95 percent.

Quality control of the results of interviews was conducted randomly by 20 percent of the total sample by supervisors by returning to the selected respondents (spot check). In quality control, no significant errors were found.
