Two Candidate Pairs For Mayor And Deputy Mayor Of Depok Meet The 2024 Pilkada Requirements

DEPOK - Two candidates for mayor and deputy mayor of Depok meet the administrative requirements to participate in the 2024 Pilkada. This was stated by the Head of the Depok City General Election Commission (KPU) Willi Sumarlin.

"Based on the results of the examination that we will carry out on the prospective pair of candidates for Haji Imam Budi Hartono and Ririn Farabi Arafiq, the files are declared eligible. Likewise, candidate pairs Supian Suri and Chandra Rahmansyah," Willi said in Depok, quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, September 7.

Willi said that the two pairs of candidates who met the requirements of the Depok City KPU had submitted administrative research on the candidate pairs for mayor and deputy mayor to the Liaison Officer (LO).

"We have also received suggestions and input from Bawaslu and we have followed up on it for the support of the BKWK political parties," said Willi.

Willi added that the next pilkada stage will be the response or input from the public starting on September 15 regarding the administration of prospective pairs.

"The rest will be if there is a response from the public, we will clarify what is requested, then we will clarify," he said.

Willi further said that the response and input from the public could directly come to the Depok City KPU office or through the official email belonging to the kpu.

"Whether it can be conveyed, whether it comes directly to the KPU or via email or social media owned by the Depok City KPU," said Willi.

After the response and input from the public regarding the administration of candidate pairs. The next stage is the determination and draw of serial numbers.

"After clarifying, we will make a determination on September 22 followed by the draw for serial number on September 23," said Willi.

Regarding the results of the two pairs of medical check-ups (MCU), the results were declared capable.

"Our health results have examined the candidate pairs at the Gatot Subroto Army Hospital and four people or four candidates for mayor and deputy mayor will be declared capable," he concluded.
