Rocky Gerung Tuding Gibran Gets Deposit From Minister Jokowi Every Saturday, KPK: Report So As Not To Be Slander

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) asked the public to report allegations of corruption they knew about. That way, investigations can be carried out more quickly.

This was conveyed by the KPK Spokesperson in response to Rocky Gerung's statement that Gibran Rakabuming Raka received money from the minister in his father's cabinet, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). This confession was conveyed at a talk show on a television station.

"If there are people who are aware of a criminal act of corruption committed by state officials, we urge and invite the public to be able to submit to the KPK, make a report," Tessa told reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Friday, September 6.

"So what is suspected can be clearly investigated later and not into slander or hoaxes if it is now conveyed," he continued.

"The public can complain about allegations of corruption to the Directorate of Public Reports and Complaints Service (PLPM)," said Tessa. No need to convey directly, complaints can be submitted through the kpk.co.id website.

The complaint is needed so that the investigation can run faster. "The procedure for the material can be collected through open source, but someone needs to report it, so there needs to be an initial report," said the spokesman with the investigator's background.

"But on these allegations, the KPK is not silent, still collecting, so once later there are reports that come in, of course it can be faster," he said.

Political observer Rocky Gerung accused Gibran Rakabuming of being a corruptor after receiving deposits from cabinet minister Joko Widodo. This deposit is submitted every Saturday.

He initially denied the criticism that had been made to Jokowi because of hatred. In fact, he said that Gibran came to Rocky's house to ask for criticism.

"Gibran went to my house. 'Om Rocky, I want to learn'. 'I want to go there luh, if you want to learn'. 'Love me criticism Om Rocky'," said Rocky imitating his conversation with Gibran as quoted from the People's Voice show on a television station that aired on Tuesday, September 3.

Rocky not only criticized him but also his brother-in-law, Bobby Nasution. That's when Gibran said that every Saturday, the minister came to him and gave him money.

Hearing Gibran's confession, Rocky criticized him as a corruptor.

"Every Saturday, various kinds of ministers come to him, give money so that Solo... I said, you are corrupt. I gave criticism that he was not angry," he said telling the moment.

Apart from asking for criticism, Gibran came to Rocky's house because he was bored with the party school given by the PDI Perjuangan. The party cadres bearing the bull symbol are obliged to carry out this activity.

"'What did you come for?' 'Two om, I also came because I was tired of participating in the PDI-P school'," said Rocky.
