President Jokowi Will Have An Office For 40 Days At IKN Until October 19

Head of the Presidential Secretariat (Kasetpres) Heru Budi Hartono said President Joko Widodo will start officeing for 40 days in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN) East Kalimantan from September 10 to October 19, 2024.

"His plan is to have an office until the 19th (October). It is possible from September 10 (September) to October 19," Heru said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, September 6.

Heru said President Joko Widodo would make a working visit to a number of areas and out of town with departure points from IKN on the sidelines of that time.

In addition, the President's work agenda at IKN will also hold a meeting with related officials.

"He works there while inviting those related to the meeting," he said.

When asked further about the time between the President based in IKN, Heru confirmed that President Jokowi would be at IKN for 40 days until October 19, 2024.

"Yes, if it is until October 19, it means 40 daily," said Heru.

Heru said a number of State Civil Apparatus (ASN) from the Ministry of State Secretariat, including the Presidential Secretariat, had also started to have an office in IKN.
