The Perpetrator Of Watering In Cengkareng Claims To Be Hurt By Being Blamed For Serving Food By Victims

JAKARTA - The case of pouring hard water on motorcyclists in Cengkareng, West Jakarta, turned out to be patterned with heartache between the perpetrator with the initials JJS alias A (18) and the victim.

West Jakarta Metro Police Deputy Chief, AKBP Teuku Arsya Gaddafi said the perpetrator with the initials A was a colleague of the victim at the Green Lake area cafe.

"The perpetrator was offended after being reprimanded by the victim regarding the mistake in serving food to customers," he told reporters, Thursday, September 5.

The heartache arose when the victim, who had worked in the cafe for 4 months, scolded the perpetrator with the initials A, who had only worked for 1 month.

"The perpetrator was hurt because the victim was often scolded by the victim, so he prepared hard water and planned to injure the victim," he said.

Furthermore, the perpetrator waited for the right time to launch the action. After knowing the habit of returning from work of the victim, the perpetrator followed and finally poured dangerous fluids on the victim and his wife on their way home on Jalan Nusa Indah, Duri Kosambi Kresek, Cengkareng.

"The victim suffered about 90 percent of the chemical burns on his body after being exposed to the liquid," he said.

Currently, the victim is still undergoing intensive care at the RSCM. The perpetrator is charged with Article 351 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code and faces up to 5 years in prison.
