Lawyer: Complaints From The Late Aulia Risma Never Responded To Undip

The attorney for the family of the late Aulia Risma, student of the Specialist Doctors Education Program (PPDS) Anesthesi Undip Semarang, Misyal Achmad, said that the university had never responded to the complaints submitted by the victim on allegations of bullying or a heavy workload during their education.

"The family has even conveyed this condition to the head of the study program, but there was no response," said Misyal after accompanying AR's family when reporting to the Central Java Police SPKT as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, September 4.

According to him, complaints have been submitted many times since 2022.

He suspects that there is omission so that the practice of bullying continues to occur.

"The deceased's mother has reported it, but there has been no change," he said.

According to him, the late Aulia mother, Nuzmatun Malina, has officially reported her child's alleged bullying to the Central Java Police.

He said a number of evidences had been submitted to the police, including data on the bank's account belonging to the deceased.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Health has provided support and strengthened the family of the late Aulia Risma to make a report to the police.

Previously, Undip Semarang denied that Aulia Risma's death, suspected of committing suicide, was triggered by bullying.

"Based on the results of our internal investigations, this is not true," said Integrated Service Manager and Public Relations Undip Semarang Utami Setyowati.

According to him, the deceased is said to have health problems that affect the learning process he is currently studying in.

He said that the deceased had considered resigning due to this condition.

"However, the deceased refused because he was administratively bound by the provisions of the scholarship recipients," he said.

Aulia Risma, a student of PPDS Faculty of Medicine, Diponegoro University (Undip) Semarang, died, allegedly committing suicide at her boarding house on Lempongsari Street, Semarang City, Central Java.
