The Minister Of Law And Human Rights Has Signed A Decree On The Management Of The PKB Bali Congress

JAKARTA - Minister of Law and Human Rights (Menkumham) Supratman Andi Agtas admitted that he had signed a decree (SK) for the management of the National Awakening Party (PKB) resulting from the PKB Congress in Bali on August 24-25, 2024. "If I'm not mistaken, I have signed it. If I'm not mistaken, yes," said Supratman at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Antara, Wednesday, September 4. He said the principle was that it was impossible for the Ministry of Law and Human Rights to hold back if there was a request from a political party. Even so, so far, according to him, there are several other political parties that have held congresses or deliberations but have not sent their management names to the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. In addition, according to him, currently there is a new political party decree that has been issued and has also been signed. "There is something that I have signed, there is a party that has finished concrete but has not submitted a request for approval," he said. He was also reluctant to respond further regarding the discourse on the issue of the PKB counter congress. According to him, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights serves every party who submits a request regarding this matter. "We can't assume that. What I haven't done yet, I'm commenting on, okay," he said.

Previously, PKB had held a congress on 24 – 25 August 2024 in Bali and mandated Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar alias Cak Imin to return to being the General Chair of PKB, and agreed on Vice President Ma'ruf Amin as Chairman of the PKB Syuro Council.
