Not Wanting To Be Involved In Drugs, Men In Depok Are Even Persecuted By Their Friends

A man with the initials JS became a victim of abuse by two of his friends, R and B on Jalan Kemirimuka, Beji, Depok City, West Java.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indardi said the incident occurred on Monday, September 2. However, his party only received the report on Tuesday, September 3, at 16.31 WIB.

"It is true that there was a beating experienced by JS. (Allegedly) being beaten by R and B," said Ade Ary in his statement, Wednesday, September 3.

Ade Ary explained that the incident began when the victim was about to go to Ambon, Maluku. Then, the perpetrator suddenly left the bag that the perpetrator admitted was containing clothes to be brought to Ambon.

After the perpetrator left, the victim tried to open the contents of the bag, it turned out that there were a number of drugs. For fear, the victim immediately made the illicit goods.

Not long after, the perpetrators came back to the victim and immediately ganged up on him until he was battered. JS suffered injuries to his face, back, and left thigh.

"The victim believes that the perpetrator mistreated him because he asked about the whereabouts of the goods (drugs)," he said.

For this incident, JS made a report to the Depok Metro Police for further action.

" Handled by the Depok Restro," he concluded.
