Lemhannas Gives Determination Of National Values To 345 Newcomer DPR Members

JAKARTA - Acting Governor of the National Resilience Institute (Lemhannas) Lt. Gen. Eko Margiyono said his party would provide activities to strengthen National Values for elected members of the DPR for the 2024-2029 period, which is a newcomer of 345 people.

Eko said the plan for the activity would be held for approximately one week, starting from 21-28 September 2024.

"Therefore, we will only give to those who are new (newcomers), yesterday from the Secretary General of the DPR, we have conveyed the number of 345 people to us," said Eko Margiyono as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, September 2.

The activity will be held by Lemhannas together with the General Election Commission (KPU).

"This activity shares the burden because if Lemhannas charges itself, we can't afford it, the budget is not enough. Therefore, we have communicated that this burden shortage is borne by the central KPU," he said.

Eko said Lemhannas had held a meeting with the Secretariat General of the DPR and the KPU to agree on the implementation of the National Values Establishment for Members of the DPR and Elected DPD for the 2024-2029 Period.

"And everything is clear, just waiting for the implementation," he said.

Lemhanas plans to present President Joko Widodo to provide direction to the members of the newcomer council.

"We hope that the president can provide direction to the members of the council," he said.
