JAKARTA - Chinese automotive manufacturer Dongfeng is expanding its model in the Chinese market by launching the Forthing Xinghai S7 650 Supreme Edition which has a luxurious four-door appearance.

Quoting from CarNewsChina, Monday, December 23, this car is positioned as a mid-size sedan with a premium design. The car has a closed front grill, with headlights integrated seamlessly into the front of the lower air intake system.

Under the bumper, a trapezoidal air intake further enhances the vehicle's aerodynamic efficiency.

The Forthing Xinghai S7 has spacious dimensions with a length of 4,935 mm, a width of 1,915 mm, a height of 1,495 mm, and a wheelbase reaching 2,915 mm. Then, Dongfeng gave it 19-inch rims with a drag coefficient of only 0.191.

Not only equipped with elements of luxury, this car has features that can pamper its users. One highlight is the presence of an electric tailgate as standard with a luggage capacity of up to 541 liters.

Moving on to the interior, the manufacturer designed it with a minimalist and futuristic design. Most of the physical button settings have been replaced with digital controls on the 15.6-inch multimedia touchscreen.

In addition, the smooth dashboard is decorated with several devices such as a double-spoke multi-function steering wheel and an 8.8-inch LCD instrument cluster.

The element of luxury is increasingly thick with the presence of multi-layer soundproof glass, heating on the steering wheel, and an ambient light system consisting of 64 colors.

The Xinghai S7 650 Supreme Edition is powered by a single electric motor located at the rear, producing up to 200 kW of power capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds.

This impressive performance is combined with a 70.26 kWh battery that offers a range of up to 650 km based on the CLTC cycle.

Offering impressive performance in its class and advanced features that can pamper its users, the Xinghai S7 650 Supreme Edition is priced starting at 149,900 yuan or equivalent to Rp332.2 million.
