Coffee Shop In South Jakarta Caught Fire Due To Sambar Glasswool Fire

JAKARTA - A total of 58 personnel from the South Jakarta Administrative City Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat) extinguished a fire at a coffee shop in Jagakarsa, South Jakarta (Jaksel).

"We deployed 58 personnel to the crime scene (TKP)," said Head of the South Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. Syamsul Huda, Monday, September 2.

Huda said his party received a fire report at 13:56 WIB from the workshop owner named Wowo.

The location of the fire was in the "Landang Coffee Pack" cafe, to be precise Jalan Paso No. 168, RT05/RW06, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta.

Initially, the employee was using a gerindra machine to cut the plate, but accidentally the spark grabbed a sack filled with glass exhaust (glasswool) so that it caught fire.

Because there are many flammable materials, it causes the fire to spread quickly.

"Then the owner came to the Jagakarsa Fire Sector Office to report the fire," he said.

Now, the South Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. confirmed that the fire was declared complete at 14.55 WIB and resulted in two employees being shocked.

"There were no casualties and injuries," he said.

The burned area covering an area of 60 square meters (M2) with an estimated loss of IDR 150 million.
