Luluk Hamidah's Track Record, PKB Srikandi Challenges Khofifah In The East Java Gubernatorial Election

YOGYAKARTA In the simultaneous General Election of Regional Heads (Pilkada) 2024, the National Awakening Party (PKB) carried the Luluk Nur Hamidah-Lukmanul Khakim pair in the East Java gubernatorial election (Pilgub). This pair is considered PKB capable of fighting Khofifah Indar Parawansa Emil Dardak and Trirismaharini Kh Zahrul Azhar Asumta (Gus Hans). So, what is Luluk Hamidah's track record like?

Previously, PKB Deputy General Chairperson (Waketum) Jazilul Fawaid revealed the reason his party carried Luluk-Lukman in the 2024 East Java gubernatorial election.

According to Jazilul, Luluk Nur Hamidah, who is also a PKB cadre, was able to fight Khofifah Indar Parawansa and Tri Rismaharini.

"Why did we choose Luluk first because we saw that all of the figures who appeared in East Java were women. Mba Luluk is a younger woman, more beautiful," he said.

"(So) there is no problem (against Khofifah and Risma), because Mrs. Khofifah is not clear about her achievements in East Java. In my opinion, Mba Luluk has succeeded in the parliament raising the issues and aspirations that are expected by the community. Including fighting hard to fight for the current draft Hajj committee," he concluded.
