Promoted By PDIP, Hasto Wardoyo-Wawan Registers For The Yogyakarta Regional Head Election To The KPU

YOGYAKARTA - The General Election Commission (KPU) of Yogyakarta City, Yogyakarta Special Region received registration for a candidate pair from the Indonesian Democratic Party (PDI) Perjuangan, Hasto Wardoyo-Wawan Harmawan, who will run in the 2024 Yogyakarta Mayor and Deputy Mayor Election.

Bakal paslonitu merupakan pasangan ketiga yang mendaftar ke KPU Kota Yogyakarta sebagai calon peserta pilkada serentak yang akan digelar pada tanggal 27 November 2024.

"Until the third day, we have received registration for three prospective pairs," said Yogyakarta City KPU Chairman Noor Harsya Aryosamodro, quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, August 29.

According to him, registration went smoothly and all the files for prospective pairs had been received and declared complete. "All the files are there and complete," said Harsya.

After receiving the registration file, his party will focus on conducting administrative research for regional election participants from August 29 to September 4, 2024.

The Hasto Wardoyo-Wawan Harmawan pair came to the Yogyakarta City KPU office on foot accompanied by the procession of PDI-P cadres as the only supporting party.

The two prospective pairs who will register first are Afnan Hadikusumo-Singgih Raharja. The couple promoted by the Golkar Party, Gerindra, PKS, PKB, PPP, PSI, Labor Party, and Ummat Party registered on Wednesday (28/8) or the second day of registration.

Next, the Poerwadi-Sri Heroe pair Widya Supeno visited the Yogyakarta City KPU Office on Thursday (29/8). The pair was promoted by the Democratic Party, Gelora, Garuda, NasDem, PAN, Perindo, and PKN.
