TANGERANG - Will Candidate (Saga Ichsan) Deputy Mayor, Marhsel Widianto from the Gerindra Party change course by supporting the candidate pair Benyamin Davnie and Pilar Saga Ichsan as Candidates for Mayor and Deputy Mayor of South Tangerang (Tangsel).

This decision was conveyed by Marshel after holding a meeting with a number of parties at the Gerindra South Tangerang (Tangsel) and Ahmad Riza Patria (Ariza) offices who withdrew from the nomination of the Mayor of South Tangerang.

"Today I represent the Gerindra Party and Bang Ariza Patria, and also myself want to express my full support for the pair Benjamin Davnie and Pilar, this is arguably a success from Mr. Benjamin," Marshel told reporters at the South Tangerang Gerindra DPC office, Wednesday, August 28.

Although he did not progress in the 2024 South Tangerang Pilkada content, Marshel admitted that he felt that he was not in vain in his efforts before giving this decision. Because for him, many of the aspirations of the people can finally be conveyed to the pair of candidates for Benjamin-Pilar.

"But my trip with Bang Ariza Patria was not in vain yesterday because it was an aspiration and also a direct complaint from the people of South Tangerang, how about I will proceed to Pak Benjamin and the pillars who will become Mayor and Deputy Mayor of South Tangerang," he said.

In his surprise, the man of one child admitted that he really supports the pair Benjamin and Pilar to become Mayor and Deputy Mayor of South Tangerang.

Not only that, he also admitted that he fully supports the candidate pair for governor and deputy governor of Banten, Andra Soni and Dimyati Natakusuma.

We will continue to fight to win Mr. Benjamin Davnie and also Mr. Pilar Saga. And also Andra Soni and Dimyati at the Governor of Banten.
