Ahok Accompanied Pramono Anung-Rano Karno Registering With KPUD Jakarta

JAKARTA - The candidate for governor and deputy governor of Jakarta, Pramono Anung-Rano Karno, arrived at the office of the DKI Jakarta Regional General Election Commission (KPUD) accompanied by Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok. The pairs of candidates promoted by the PDI-P arrived at around 11.02 WIB. They appeared to be wearing Betawi typical clothes, complete with caps and sarongs. The two, accompanied by PDI-P cadres, one of whom was Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok. Betawi's impression was deeply felt on the Pramono Anung-Rano Karno convoy. Because, they did not only briefly ride a blue and black oplet, typical of the film Si Doel Anak Betawi. The accompaniment of Pramono Anung and Rano Karno also brought ondel-ondel and a typical Betawi musical instrument. As previously informed, PDIP officially promoted Pramono Anung and Rano Karno to advance in the 2024 Jakarta gubernatorial election.

This confirmation was conveyed directly by PDIP General Treasurer Olly Dondokambey to reporters at the PDIP DPP Office, Diponegoro Street, Menteng, Jakarta, Tuesday 27 August 2024. "Pak Pram and Rano Karno tomorrow will register at 11 o'clock at the Jakarta KPUD," said Olly.
