South Tangerang ASN Prohibited From Participating In Paslon Entourages When Registering With KPU

TANGERANG - The General Election Commission (KPU) of South Tangerang (Tangsel) appealed to the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) not to take the candidate pair (Paslon) of the Mayor and Deputy Mayor to register in their place.

The Technical Division of the South Tangerang KPU Implementation, Ajat Sudrajat, said that ASNs are prohibited from participating in the group supporting the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of South Tangerang to maintain neutrality in the election.

"Don't let ASN join the group in the support group, as Bawaslu has appealed, there are groups of ASN or vehicles with all kinds of service plates," Ajat told reporters at the South Tangerang KPU, Tuesday, August 27.

Not only that, he also advised parents who took part in the group of the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of South Tangerang not to bring their children so that something that would not be cold would not happen.

"Children are also not allowed (to join the group when joining the candidate pair-ed)," he said.

For information, there are three candidate pairs who are rumored to be competing in the 2024 Regional Head Election (Pilkada) in South Tangerang, namely Ahmad Riza Patria with Marshel Widianto, Benjamin Davnie with Pilar Saga Ichsan, Ruhamaben with Shinta.
