Police Arrest Two Perpetrators Of Stabbing In Front Of Alfamidi Cipayung, East Jakarta

The Cipayung Police Criminal Investigation Unit arrested two perpetrators of the beatings with the initials REP and S next to the Amboja restaurant, Jalan Raya Hankam, Bambu Apus Village, Cipayung District, East Jakarta on Monday, August 26. Both were arrested in connection with the stabbing of two youths in front of Alfamidi, Cipayung, East Jakarta.

The arrests of the perpetrators were carried out based on the statements of a number of witnesses who had been questioned.

From the information of the witnesses, then the Criminal Investigation Unit together with members checked the addresses of the perpetrators' houses. However, when they were raided, the perpetrators were not there.

Then with the help of witnesses, the Cipayung Police Criminal Investigation Unit managed to secure the perpetrators.

"When interrogated, the perpetrator admitted that the sharp weapon used was in the house of Jalan Bambu Kuning Utara, RT 10/02, Bambu Apus Village, Cipayung District, East Jakarta," said Cipayung Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head AKP Hotman Capandi when confirmed by VOI, Monday, August 26.

For further processing, the two suspects were secured to the Cipayung Police for further investigation.

"The perpetrators carried out beatings using sharp weapons of the type of corbek and sickle," he said.

Police are still developing the two suspects to hunt down the other perpetrators. Meanwhile, the case is still being handled by the Cipayung Police.

Previously, it was reported that two residents named Alfian (20) and Syahruddin alias Daeng Udin (55) were injured as a result of being stabbed by a sharp weapon by a group of people in front of Alfa Midi, Gang Service, Jalan Rawa Binong, RT 01/11, Lubang Buaya Village, Cipayung District, East Jakarta.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cipayung Police, AKP Hotman Capandi, confirmed the incident. The incident occurred on Saturday, August 24.
