Reflecting On Lampung, President Jokowi Inaugurates A Number Of Infrastructures

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) made a working visit to Lampung, Monday, August 26. On that occasion, the president was accompanied by the Minister of Trade (Mendag) Zulkifli Hasan, Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono. Kunker, to inaugurate a number of infrastructures in the province. This was conveyed by Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media of Presidential Secretariat Yusuf Permana in a written statement, Monday morning. Yusuf explained that the Indonesian Presidential Aircraft-1 brought the president and his entourage to take off from the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, at around 07.45 WIB. After arriving in South Lampung Regency, the president immediately continued his journey to East Lampung Regency using the TNI AU Super Puma Helicopter to inaugurate the Margatiga Dam. After that, the president will return to South Lampung to inaugurate a number of other infrastructures.

"The president plans to inaugurate two infrastructures, namely the Bandar Lampung City SPAM and the revitalization of the Pasir Gintung Market. These two infrastructures are expected to be able to provide benefits to the community," said Yusuf.Turut accompanied the president on a visit to Lampung Province namely Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan, Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono, Commander of Paspampres Major General TNI Achiruddin, Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media Presidential Secretariat Yusuf Permana, and Executive Daily (Plh) Presidential Military Secretary, Brigadier General Heri Purwanto.
