JAKARTA - Motorcycle users died when they were about to cross the doorless train crossing in Babakanbandung Village, Sukabumi City, West Java on Sunday.

"It happened at around 16.00 WIB, precisely in RW 01, Subangjaya Village, Cikole District. When the train occurred, it headed from Cianjur Regency to Sukabumi Station. The victims were two motorcycle users who rode," said Head of RW 01 Subangjaya Galang Village, Sunday, August 25.

According to the information gathered, the victim was identified as Indra Lesmana, a resident of Undrus Binangun Village, Kadudampit District, Sukabumi Regency as a motorcyclist and Burhan Maulana, a resident of Cilangkap Village, Lengkong District, Sukabumi Regency who is a passenger.

As a result of the incident, Burhan died at the location due to serious head injuries, while Indra suffered injuries to several parts of his body and is currently receiving treatment from the medical treatment of R Syamsudin SH Hospital, Sukabumi City.

This accident started when a motorcycle was traveling from Jalan Amubawa Sasana, Subangjaya Village, Cikole District and was about to cross a railroad crossing towards Nangeleng Village, Citamiang District.

The two victims bounced quite far. Residents who saw the incident immediately provided assistance to residents and soon came from the Sukabumi City Police patrol car who immediately evacuated the victim to the hospital.
