Densus 88 Involved In Investigate Perpetrators Of Burning Media Offices In Bantarjati Bogor City

Bogor City Police, West Java Police, are still investigating the burning of the Pakuan Raya Daily Media Office (PAKAR) in Bantarjati Village by an unknown person (OTK), involving the Special Detachment 88 Police team.

Head of the Bogor City Police Criminal Investigation Unit AKP Aji Riznaldi Nugroho said his party involved Densus to analyze the perpetrators, because the equipment from Densus was more complete.

"Now we are still gathering witnesses, we are also coordinating with the Densus regarding the analysis of the perpetrators, because the Densus tool is more complete," he explained in Bogor City, Antara, Tuesday, December 31.

In addition, said Aji, from the results of the crime scene, the police also found hotspots on the terrace of the office, as well as cardboard, plastic bottles and air conditioning cables.

The police are also still sweeping CCTV cameras around the scene, because he revealed that CCTV from the Transportation Service near the location died on that date.

Previously, it was reported that the Bogor City Police were investigating the burning of the PAKAR Daily media office in Bantarjati Village, which was allegedly burned by the OTK on Saturday (28/12) in the morning.

One of the eyewitnesses who helped extinguish the fire, an online motorcycle taxi driver named Aditia, admitted that he saw two unidentified men riding motorbikes.

Arriving at the Jambu Warung Police Post which is right in front of the PAKAR Daily Editor's office, he said, one of the men got off his motorbike and walked to the scene.

The person carried cardboard and gasoline in a plastic bottle of mineral water, then immediately set fire to the front of the PAKAR office. Meanwhile, one other perpetrator waited on the motorbike," he said.

After that, Aditia said, the two men went on motorbikes, while he and a shop owner around struggled to extinguish the fire.
