PSI Promise: Ready 24 Hours To Help Ridwan Kamil Suswono Win The 2024 Jakarta Gubernatorial Election

JAKARTA - The DPP of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) submitted a statement of support/formuli B1-KWK for the candidate pair for governor-bakal candidate for deputy governor Ridwan Kamil (RK)-Suswono to run in the 2024 Pilkada in the Special Region of Jakarta (DKJ).

The support form was handed over by PSI DPP Secretary General Raja Juli Antoni along with PSI central management to RK-Suswono at PSI headquarters, Jakarta, Sunday.

"There is no doubt, PSI is ready to win Bang Emil and Pak Suswono to lead our Jakarta," said Raja Juli during the handover ceremony, as quoted by Antara.

Raja Juli, dalam acara itu, mewakili Ketua Umum DPP PSI Kaesang Pangarep yang saat ini masih berada di Amerika Serikat mendampingi istrinya mengurus lectures di Universitas of Pennsylvania.

He continued that Kaesang and all PSI cadres would be ready 24 hours to help the RK-Suswono pair, especially during the campaign period.

"Mas Kaesang has said that he will be ready 24 hours to win Kang Emil and Pak Suswono so that they will continue to blusukan, will greet the public to ensure that Jakarta is led by the most appropriate people to serve the community, to improve the welfare of the community," said Raja Juli.

In the same event, Ridwan Kamil thanked him for the support.

He believes that the RK-Suswono and PSI pairs have the same spirit to build Jakarta.

"Thank you to PSI for your trust. Hopefully we will all be given convenience," said Ridwan Kamil.

Meanwhile, Suswono, who is a PKS cadre, stated that he is ready to support Ridwan Kamil's big ideas if the pair is later elected as governor and deputy governor of Jakarta.

"I will support, and of course with the central government it will be inline, and support from the central government, the APBD that we have or other sources and there is a lot of potential to develop New Jakarta," said Suswono.

The RK-Suswono pair is currently supported by a grand KIM Plus coalition consisting of the Gerindra Party, Golkar Party, Democrat Party, PAN, PSI, Garuda Party, Gelora Party, NasDem, PPP, PKB, and PKS.

The Indonesian KPU opened registration for prospective regional head pairs on 27 '29 August 2024.
