A 14-year-old Boy Dies Drowning In A Depth Of 3 Meters In The Muara Baru Area

JAKARTA - A 14-year-old boy named Wildan Sinatarian was found dead as a result of drowning at Muara Baru Pier, Penjaringan District, North Jakarta. The victim was found by the joint SAR Team after searching by means of water diving. The victim was found by the joint SAR Team at a radius of 5 meters from the location of the incident. His body was found at a water depth of about 3 meters. "We found the victim along with the combined SAR element. The body was evacuated to the RSCM," said Head of the Jakarta SAR Office as SAR Mission Coordinator (SMC) in the SAR operation, Desiana Kartika Bahari when confirmed, Sunday, August 25. Efforts to search for the victim have been carried out since last Friday, August 23. The search was carried out with a distribution of 2 teams. "The first team conducted a search using a rubber boat on the surface of water up to a radius of 1 KM from the location of the incident," he said. Then the second team conducted a search below the surface of the water using an underwater object detection tool.

"Then dived in a place where the victim was suspected of having an object," he added. Meanwhile, the joint SAR personnel came from the Jakarta SAR Office, Muara Baru Police, Metro Jaya Police Ditpolair, Muara Baru Navy Post and DKI Jakarta BPBD and other SAR institutions.
