Back To Leading PKB For The 2024-2029 Period, This Is Cak Imin's Target

NUSA Dua - Muhaimin Iskandar again serves as Chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB) for the period 2024-2029. Cak Imin was elected by acclamation by thousands of regional and branch level administrators.

In short, Cak Imin revealed the short-term and long-term targets that will be achieved while continuing his leadership for his fourth term. This was revealed after the first 6 days of the congress.

"In short terms, of course, the success of all the Pilkada processes inevitably has to move all components of the party cadres of all members of the legislature," said Cak Imin at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center, Nusa Dua, Sunday, August 25.

"Secondly, the short term is to be part of the transition of power in October, the new DPRD, the new DPR RI, the new president," continued Cak Imin.

After being willing to return to office as Chairman of PKB, Cak Imin asked the cadres to commit to developing party organizations together.

"Of course this is a heavy mandate that God willing, I will work as hard as I can to continue what is being entrusted with the struggle," he explained.

In the congress held last night, Muktamirin also approved the proposal of the kiai to establish Vice President Ma'ruf Amin as Chairman of the PKB Syuro Council.

"I am happy, proud to be grateful that Kiai Ma'ruf Amin was appointed by the kiai to be the chairman of the syuro council and at the same time willing to jointly strengthen the PKB DPP," said Cak Imin.

Cak Imin's re-determination as Chairman of the PKB began with the reading of the PKB Central Board Accountability Report (DPP) by Cak Imin during his leadership period in the 2019-2024 period.

The trial continued with the evaluation of the PKB regional leadership council (DPW) in 38 provinces over the leadership of Cak Imin. From the evaluation results, all DPW and branch leadership councils (DPC) under him proposed that Cak Imin return to office as Chairman of PKB for the period 2024-2029.

The proposal was confirmed by Ida Fauziyah as the chair of the session to all congress participants who were present at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center. All cadres answered that they agreed with the acclamation.

With the ratification of one vote, the chairman of the trial of the Jazilul Fawaid Congress read out a decree on Cak Imin's re-appointed letter as Chairman of the PKB with number 4/TAP/Mukatamar/PKB 2024.

"Decided, appointed Dr. HC. Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar as general chairman of the DPP PKB for the 2024-2029 term of service, as well as the sole mandater for the 2024 PKB congress," said Jazilul.

"Determinated in Bali, August 25, Sunday 00.01. Sunday, August 25, at 00.21 Bali time in 2024," he continued.

During the trial, Cak Imin also questioned whether all participants of the congress were willing to return to lead the party and answered with approval.

"I asked if it was true that DPC friends asked me to lead again? Yes, then, let's sell it, ana buy it. Buy it, ana buy it. Be polite, I'm reluctant," explained Cak Imin.
