JAKARTA - Head of the Presidential Communication Office (PCO) Hasan Nasbi responded to the question of the "King of Java" mentioned by the General Chairperson of the Golkar Party DPP Bahlil Lahadalia during the Golkar Party National Conference, Wednesday (21/8).

Hasan said the Palace did not want to speculate further about the "King of Java" figure.

"That's a political statement in political parties," Hasan said at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, August 22.

The palace let the public interpret each other about the figure of the "Java King".

"Please interpret each other," said Hasan.

Previously, the General Chairperson of the Golkar Party DPP Bahlil Lahadalia alluded to the figure of "King of Java" during a speech on his vision and mission presentation at the XI Golkar Party National Conference at the Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta, Wednesday (21/8).

According to Bahlil, Golkar cadres should not dare to play with the figure he calls the "King of Java" because it can be detrimental. However, he did not explain the figure of the king in question.

"If we play with this Javanese king, we will be in danger. I want to tell you, don't try to play with this item. Wow, we are horrified by the deliciousness of this item," he said.

Bahlil conveyed this after inviting Golkar Party cadres to have more patents in supporting the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka government as the sustainability of Joko Widodo-Ma'ruf Amin's government.
