2 Bodies Of Victims Of Yach's Crew Mike Lynch Who Drowned In Sicily Found

JAKARTA - Scuba diver who explored the wreck of British tech king Mike Lynch's family cruise ship, which sank off the coast of Sicily, Italy, found two bodies.

Reuters quoted a source as saying one of the bodies was a tall man.

Rescue workers are looking for six missing people, including Lynch, his 18-year-old daughter and Jonathan Bloomer, non-executive chairman of Morgan Stanley International.

The British-flagged Bayesian, a 56-meter-long superyacht, carried 22 people and docked at Porticello port, near Palermo, when the ship capsized during a devastating storm on Monday.

Fifteen people survived, while the body of a chef on board, Recaldo Thomas, a Canadian-Antiguan citizen, was found near the shipwreck hours after the disaster.

Examination of the shipwreck, which is located tilted at a depth of about 50 meters, is a "long and complicated operation", the Italian fire department said.

The space inside is blocked by furniture and debris. Divers only have 8-10 minutes under the shipwreck.

Separately, the coast guard deployed equipment operated remotely to scan the seabed and take underwater pictures and videos.

The coast guard asked for information from survivors, including the captain of the Bayesian ship, and a cruise ship passenger moored next to him who witnessed the ship sinking.

Lynch, 59, is one of the UK's most famous tech entrepreneurs and is bill Gates in his country.

He built the UK's largest software company Autonomy, which sold to HP for 11 billion US dollars in 2011, after which the deal failed completely.

The US tech giant accused him of fraud, resulting in a lengthy trial. Lynch was acquitted of all charges by a jury in San Francisco in June.

Another missing passenger is Bloomer's wife, totaling, Clifford Chance's lawyer, Chris Morvillo, and his wife, Neda Morvillo. Morvillo represented Lynch in San Francisco's trial, while Bloomer was a character witness on his behalf.
