JAKARTA - Jakarta Regional Representative Council (DPRD) Chairman Prasetyo Edi Marsudi returned the B 2 DKI vehicle license plate to Acting (Pj) Governor of Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono.
During his tenure as Chairman of the DKI DPRD for the 2014-2019 and 2019-2024 periods, Prasetyo used the official vehicle plate for every major event, such as the 17 August Indonesian Independence Day ceremony.
"This is a form of my obligation and responsibility. Before it ends, I return the B 2 DKI leadership symbol to the Governor," Prasetyo said in Jakarta, Wednesday, August 21.
The return of the vehicle plate was used as a sign that his term of office in the DKI DPRD will soon end. Prasetyo will no longer serve as a council member in the next period.
The PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) politician expressed his gratitude for the dedication and hard work of the DKI Jakarta DPRD members during their five years of service as people's representatives.
Pras also expressed his gratitude to the executive ranks who are DPRD's partners in building the city of Jakarta and producing policies that can be felt by the community.
"We feel that there is good communication between the executive and legislative," said Prasetyo.
