JAKARTA - The candidate for governor of Jakarta who was promoted by 12 political parties, Ridwan Kami, explained the reasons for the name of the New Jakarta vision he carried with the deputy governor candidate Suswono.

This reason was also conveyed to the elected vice president Gibran Rakabuming Raka while attending the declaration of cagub-cawagub which was promoted by the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) Plus.

"Mas Gibran, I'm reporting why his vision is for a new Jakarta? Because Jakarta is being asked by its citizens, what is the world going on with, what is his imagination from the time he was left by the archipelago to become the capital city in Kalimantan. We will carry out his name re-imagination with all Jakarta residents. Where will the direction of Jakarta after IKN, that's what is called a new Jakarta," said Ridwan Kamil at the Sultan Hotel, Jakarta, Monday, August 19.

With the cohesive vision for the next five years, the man who is familiarly called RK believes that there will be leaps of progress, namely Advanced Jakarta.

"So the imagination of Jakarta, God willing, will give birth to the spirit of Jakarta Maju," said the former Governor of West Java.

According to RK, the Governor of Jakarta is also important for one frequency with the President and Vice President in the Central Government. He considered that if the two of them worked together it would be easy to communicate. The local government, he said, would obey central programs.

"So I imagine, in the next five years the acceleration of Jakarta's development will be doubled because of one frequency, God willing, we are with the Central Government," he said.

RK said that with his experience as mayor of Bandung for 5 years, assisted by Suswono as his representative who has experience as Minister of Agriculture under the SBY era, his leadership will provide perfection for Jakarta.

"I am also Mr. Ustadz Suwono, who has shown that as long as the Mayor of the Governor, I am very harmonious with my Deputy because it provides a very optimal space, single dwi together. So earlier together we did not precede each other, the intelligence together was not intimidated, and sharp, neither hurt each other," said RK.
