Forward To The Jakarta Gubernatorial Election, Ridwan Kamil-Suswono Asks For Blessings

JAKARTA - Golkar Party Deputy Chairman Ridwan Kamil advanced with senior PKS politician Suswono as a candidate pair for governor and deputy governor candidate in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada.

Ridwan Kamil asked for his blessing to fight in the Jakarta gubernatorial election. It is known that currently there are candidate pairs and cawagub independent lanes Dharma Pangrokun-Kun Wardana.

"We humans have an effort, but the territory of fate is the territory of Allah SWT. Therefore, both of us will adapt to this endeavor. We ask for the blessing of all, because there is no success without togetherness, no glory without cohesiveness, and no success of course without unity," said Ridwan Kamil after being declared governor of Jakarta by 12 political parties at the Sultan Hotel, Jakarta, Monday, August 19.

Ridwan Kamil also mentioned the reconciliation initiated by the Secretary General of Gerindra, Ahmad Muzani.

There are 12 political parties consisting of 8 parliamentary parties and 4 political parties participating in the 2024 General Election who agreed to carry the Ridwan Kamil-Suswono pair.

"It has been pointed out by our parents, Mr. Jokowi, Mr. Prabowo, to show all Indonesian citizens that after the contestation a reconstruction came. Now in all regions, what we want to show, 12 of these political parties show the same spirit," he said.

The man who is familiarly called RK hopes that Jakarta residents can accept the ideas of Jakarta Baru and Jakarta Maju for the next five years.

"We will work hard, work sincerely, work thoroughly, work quality to make what was said earlier," he said.

The 12 political parties that carried Ridwan Kamil and Suswono in the Jakarta Pilkada, among others, the Gerindra Party, PKB, PSI, PPP, NasDem, Perindo, PKS, PAN, Golkar, Garuda Party, Democratic Party, and Gelora Party.
