JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) officially inaugurated Supratman Andi Agtas to be officially appointed Minister of Law and Human Rights (Menkumham) today, Monday, August 19. He replaced Yasonna H. Laoly, who is a PDI-P cadre (PDIP).

So how much wealth?

Reporting from e-LHKPN on the KPK website, he was recorded as having assets of Rp. 18,403,050,249 or Rp. 18.4 billion. He submitted the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN) on March 28, 2023.

In the report, Supratman conveyed ownership of 11 plots of land and buildings spread across Palu, North Jakarta, Tolitoli, Bogor and Bekasi. All of these assets are the result with a value of Rp. 8,326,750,548.

Next, the former Head of the Legislation Body (Baleg) of the DPR RI is also recorded as owning two cars. The details are 2012 Toyota Alphard worth IDR 212,500,000 and 2020 Toyota Innova Venturer worth IDR 319,600,000.

Still through the same report, Supratman recorded ownership of securities amounting to Rp5,861,314,785. This Gerindra Party politician also conveyed ownership of cash and cash equivalents worth Rp5,503,884,916.

Furthermore, he was recorded as having no other assets. However, Supratman has a debt of IDR 1,821,000,000.

President Joko Widodo officially inaugurated Supratman Andi Agtas as Minister of Law and Human Rights (Menkumham). The inauguration was held at 09.30 WIB at the State Palace, Jakarta.

The inauguration procession begins with reading out the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 92/P of 2024 concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of State Ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet for the 2019-2024 Period. After that, Jokowi took the oath of office of minister.

For information, the news that Jokowi will do a reshuffle has been blowing since the last two weeks. One of the ministers who will be removed is Yasonna Laoly.

Later, the chairman of the PDI-P DPP admitted that he was very ready to leave the position of Minister of Law and Human Rights which he had held since Jokowi's first term in 2014. Supratman will only serve as Minister of Law and Human Rights for two months before the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet ends in October 2024.
