JAKARTA - A man is suspected of molesting his colleague in the aftermath of a trivial matter. The victim who refused the alleged perpetrator's request was beaten until he was bruised.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indardi said this case stemmed from a ceckcok caused by a man with the initials B refusing to obey the alleged perpetrator with the initials AS to tease women wearing hijab.

"In this situation, there was an argument between the victim and the reported party," said Ade Ary in his statement, Sunday, August 18.

According to Ade, in the middle of the argument, a raw boy then landed on the victim's chin.

"The victim, which resulted in a swollen and bruised wound on the part, after the incident, the victim felt very sick and a clear scar on his chin was clearly visible," he said.

The victim then headed to the Koja Hospital, North Jakarta for medical treatment. After that, the victim reported the incident to the police.

Ade explained that this incident occurred on Jalan Lestari, Sukapura, Cilincing, North Jakarta, Friday, August 16, at 12.00 WIB. The victim only reported it on Sunday, August 18, at 04.10 WIB.
