Supratman Doesn't Know The Issue Of Entering The Cabinet Replaces Menkumham Yasonna Laoly

JAKARTA - Gerindra Party politician Supratman Andi Agtas admitted that he did not know about the news that he would enter the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet replacing Yasonna H. Laoly as Minister of Law and Human Rights.

"Wow, I don't know at all. I don't know at all," said Supratman, Thursday, August 15.

In fact, the former chairman of the DPR Baleg admitted that he had not heard the information.

"Not yet. I don't know at all, really don't know," he said.

Supratman said the rotation at the helm of Baleg DPR previously was because it was in the context of refreshment. Not because he will be appointed minister.

"In Baleg, it's like that. If we are in the Gerindra Party faction, it's basically placed anywhere or given confidence, we run it. But if it's about the cabinet, we don't know at all," he said.

The legislator for the Central Sulawesi electoral district also revealed that there had been no talk at all from the Gerindra DPP to him regarding ministerial positions.

"Nothing at all. I have absolutely no news at all," he said.

Nevertheless, Supratman stated that he was ready if he was assigned by the General Chair and President of the Elect, Prabowo Subianto, to be an assistant to President Joko Widodo.

"Gerindra is assigned anywhere. But nothing yet, nothing until now," he said.

Previously, it was rumored that there were four ministers who would be replaced or subject to Jokowi's reshuffle. The four are Minister of Law and Human Rights (Menkumham) Yasonna Laoly, Minister of Environment and Forestry (LHK) Siti Nurbaya Bakar, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Arifin Tasrif, and Minister of Investment Bahlil Lahadalia.

A number of names are also rumored to be replacing the four people. Gerindra Party cadre Supratman Andi Agtas is said to be the Minister of Law and Human Rights replacing the post left by PDI-P cadre Yasonna Laoly.

Meanwhile, Bahlil Lahadalia is said to be serving as Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources replacing Arifin Tasrif. Meanwhile, the Head of the Prabowo-Gibran Winning Team, Roslan P Roeslani, is also rumored to be replacing Bahlil as investment minister.

Then PSI Secretary General who is also Deputy Minister of ATR/BPN Raja Juli Antoni is said to be filling the LHK ministerial post replacing NasDem cadre Siti Nurbaya.
