Motorcyclist Killed By Agra Mas Bus In Jatinegara

JAKARTA - Kresnawati, a motorcyclist, died after being run over by an Agra Mas bus bound for Ciawi on Jalan DI Panjaitan, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta, Thursday, August 15, early in the morning. The victim's body was successfully evacuated from under the bus wheel at around 09.00 WIB. "The victim drove on Jalan DI Panjaitan on the left side to turn right, turning around, cutting the lane. According to the bus driver, the female driver slipped and fell into under the Agra Mas bus," said the East Jakarta Region traffic officer, Iptu Djarot to VOI at the scene. When he fell from the victim's automatic motorbike, the victim's body bounced and entered under the Agra Mas bus so that he was immediately run over. The victim suffered a severe injury to the head. "The victim died on the spot. The victim used a Honda Vario motorbike. The body had been taken to the Kramatjati Police Hospital," he said. As a result of the accident, the traffic flow around Jalan DI Panjaitan had been completely jammed up to 1 kilometer from the Pedati direction to PGC Cililitan. Currently, the case is handled by the East Jakarta District Traffic Unit.
