JAKARTA - Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General TNI Maruli Simanjuntak presented 30 official vehicles intended for operations in the fields of rescue, health to disaster management.

"This is the result of our hard work together, there are ambulances and fire engines that we have modified, as well as other vehicles to support the units below," Maruli said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, August 14.

The 30 official vehicles consist of five fire engines, four ambulances, two water tankers, and 19 Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) units.

Later, the official vehicles will be handed over to all work units and TNI AD units to support soldiers in carrying out their duties.

Maruli hopes that the official vehicle can be used optimally to serve the community.

Previously, Maruli also handed over 32 randis to support the operations of his soldiers, Tuesday (14/5).

The 32 official cars were distributed to several units including Kodiklatad, Pusterad, Seskoad, Puspomad, Secapaad, Pussenkav, Dittopad, Disbintalad, Ditkuad, Ditkumad, Denmabesad, Dispenad and the Arhanud Regiment.

Maruli emphasized that the official vehicle must be used by all staff to carry out their duties, not for personal interests.
