Prabowo Subianto Optimistic 4-5 Years IKN Has Functioned Well

Elected President Prabowo Subianto emphasized that the construction of the capital city of the archipelago (IKN) will definitely be completed. This was conveyed by Prabowo in response to the continuation of IKN development in his future government. "Oh, we will definitely finish it," said Prabowo in a press statement with President Joko Widodo at IKN, East Kalimantan, quoted from Antara, Monday, August 12. Prabowo said that although the IKN development outline plan is projected to be completed for a dozen years to several decades, he is optimistic that in 4-5 years IKN will be able to function very well. "We also shouldn't force it, but if I'm optimistic, yes, in 4.5 years I think it will work very well, in my opinion. I'm not an engineering expert, but I see the potential, I see, I'm sure 5-6 years will be good, will be finished,” Prabowo explained. Prabowo, who is also the Minister of Defense, said that the IKN development would continue and be accelerated by involving experts. “ Everything is deployed, our capabilities. If I'm optimistic, I think it's very good. Yes my friend (continuing IKN development),” Prabowo explained. Meanwhile, on that occasion, President Joko Widodo said that IKN has clean air according to what it dreams.

"That we want a green capital city, both energy, both electric vehicles, both the environment, the air, everything is good," said President Widodo.
