JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) emphasized that the government will continue to support project development outside the Central Government Core Area (KIPP), the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), East Kalimantan (Kaltim). "We hope that later the private sector will build, the government will also provide support to infrastructure. So, don't doubt that the government does not support infrastructure outside the core area," Jokwi said in his remarks during the groundbreaking of PT Intiland Development Tbk at IKN, East Kalimantan, Antara, Monday, August 12. Jokowi said the government would continue to support it by building road access to the provision of water and electricity. "So, the road is still building the government, water is building the government, electricity is also providing the government and later it will start in January next year we have included the budget in the RAPBN (2025) because this is what I know a lot and often asked there are no problems, even though the president has changed in January," said the President. On that occasion, the President also appreciated PT Intiland for implementing the green building concept for the project to be carried out at IKN. "Earlier, the design was shown in front, the design that will be carried out by PT Intiland is also very good and green building," said the President. The green building concept itself is an effort to realize IKN into an energy-efficient and low-carbon city. On that occasion, the President also mentioned the clean air in IKN on Monday morning today. For this reason, he hopes that in the future IKN will also have to use electric cars. "Everything here has to be an electric car. This morning I checked the air quality index at IKN 0-50 with a maximum of 50, in cities now it is already above 100 but this morning I checked here it is still at number 6, and later when the combustion cars are no longer certain at 0 percent, meaning very fresh, very clean," said the President. The Head of State also appreciated the investment in IKN carried out by PT Intiland, which will build Grand Whiz Nusantara, Nusantara Quarter, and the Royal Nusantara Golf Resort and Residence.

"By saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim, this afternoon the groundbreaking of Grand Whiz Nusantara, Nusantara Quarter, and Royal Nusantara Golf Resort and Residence, I officially declare that it will start," said the President.
